1. The holder of this position must demonstrate their support of and loyalty to the International Congress of Churches and Ministers (ICCM) by maintaining appropriate and current ICCM Ministerial Credentials and their support of WBI via a completed and signed Membership Covenant.
2. The Candidate must be a Christian who has been Baptized in the Holy Ghost and is able to pray in the Spirit (Acts 1:8; 1 Cor. 14:2; Jude 1:20).
3. The State President must live a life void of the characteristics of 1 Cor. 6:9-10 and Gal. 5:19-21, and shall exhibit the fruit of the Spirit as outlined in Gal. 5:22-23.
4. The State President must be a self-starter, an organizer, and exhibits leadership characteristics. He/she will initiate and coordinate State Chapter Intercession functions, including scheduling, weekly state intercessory prayer activities and other duties as assigned. This will include growing the State Chapter into a viable army of Spiritual Warriors.
5. This individual will be responsible for providing motivational and spiritual support, and encouragement to the National Warrior Bride International (WBI) President and Vice-President, and National Secretary (Lk. 22:32).
6. The Candidate must be seasoned in Spiritual Warfare, with the ability to recognize and discern onslaughts of the enemy, while appropriately identifying the level of attack which the enemy has initiated (Eph. 5:11; 6:12).
7. This position requires an individual who is objective, yet empathetic. As an empathetic Intercessor you must be able to find objectivity in prayer or you will soon become overwhelmed by the needs of others. You must be able to leave it in the hands of God and not make it personal once prayer is over. However, if you are objective without feeling the needs of those for whom you are interceding, you will discover your life as an Intercessor will become mechanical and mundane.
8. This position demands a person who leads a disciplined life. In addition to providing prayer covering and support to the National President, Vice-President, Secretary, and The General Overseer and Board of Governors, this individual must be capable of scheduling sufficient prayer and devotion time for himself/herself, without placing any undue burden upon his/her family.
9. If the Candidate is married, the relationship must be one of balance and cohesiveness to prevent hindrance to any intercession (1 Pet. 3:7).
10. In addition to demonstrating the ability of a Leader, this Candidate must exhibit high moral character. The adversary will constantly search for a “kink in the armor” (Jn. 14:30). It is your moral responsibility to ensure he does not (Eph. 4:27).
11. This individual must be slow to accept an offense and slow to become angry, but capable of quickly forgiving any who may have wronged him/her (Mk. 11:25; Mt. 6:14), and walk in love with fellow believers (Gal. 5:6; James 1:19; 1 Jn. 4:20).
12. Although this candidate will have the encouragement and prayer of the General Overseer, his Superintendent, and the National WBI President, the State President should be someone who doesn’t require accolades or the approval of others for that which God has called him/her. As David did, this person must be someone who can encourage themselves during the battles and storms which lie ahead (1 Sam. 30:6).
13. The holder of this high office will study, familiarize, and learn the WBI Handbook and Procedures Manual. This will be documented in the form of a written, signed statement from the Candidate.
14. The Secretary must be a team player. He or she must be a person of submission to Godly authority (Heb. 13:17) and be able to complete any tasks assigned by the National President.
15. This individual will be responsible for submitting State Quarterly reports for any WBI activity during that period.
16. The State President will report to the National President.
